Before I began working with copper and forest fragments, I spent years designing gardens filled with beautiful plants, constantly appreciating how imaginative nature is in never precisely reproducing any of its ethereal creations. Working alongside nature is the most exquisite soul nurturing experience, bringing wisdom and the belief, that no matter how challenging times can be, everything will work out just fine in the end and the green shoots will always reappear after harsh winter.
This ancient rhythm — of life, decay, and rebirth — runs deep through my craft. Like the druids and keepers of old folklore, I believe that each forest holds secrets waiting to be honoured. When the colours fade and the gardens sleep, I gather what the wild gives me — leaves, seeds, twigs — and turn them into talismans that carry the spirit of the woods all year round.
